Pastor Anthony,
I just finished watching your worship gathering about Servolution and your intention to go throughout the Raleigh community to serve. Please post some of the stories on the website if possible. God will touch hearts next sunday and you/your congregation will help spread the gospel of Jesus. I'm looking forward to hear the stories of how people are blessed next week.

I'm with you 100%. It is a daily decision to stop worrying! Easier said than done, huh? I'm very proud of you and know that God is about to blow your mind. I am excited about what God is doing in your family! I'm proud to call you a friend!

I have felt like quitting, serveral times over. Temptation has knocked on my door more than once during this 21 days. But God has given me the strength to carry on. I am with you on the quitting though. One thing thru the fast is I have tried to stop worrying about things that are beyond my control, which is like everything! I try and control things, but when I think I am in control and cruising along, God seems to send me a freindly reminder of who is actually in control. Since, I have put the worries at Jesus's feet, things seem not to bother me as much. I would be lying if I said i didn't worry at all, but I take comfort in knowing that Jesus is driving and I am his precious cargo and he is not going to take any chances while driving that would hurt me. Just like we would not take chances while drving when our own children are in the car with us. Looking forward to Ablaze!

Thanks for the nice mention of my book, The Encore Effect. I also recommend that people consider that even if you aren't passionate about what you do, you can be passionate about why you do it, how you do it, or for whom you do it. Passion can be cultivated in each of those areas.

An incredible scipture that will quench the thirsty soul in it's most desperate of times. Nothing can reassure us or comfort us like the the words of God, words from a loving Father to his child. In these words, I find all that I need.

One of the greatest struggles in my life has been to want to be in complete control. I have found that many of us want to have much of the control over our lives, but our lives don't belong to us. So it doesn't make any sense for us to want to make all of the decisions. God has already made many of the decisions for us and it is just a matter of letting Him guide us through the events of earthly life. When my life becomes difficult, I often realize that once again I have tried to control away from God. God never masks the problems we have, He simply brings them to light and offers us truthful guidance, a reliable solution, and a merciful love.
